It was a surprisingly fun day out in Huntington Beach this morning, with a ton of talent in town for the NSSA State College Championships going down on the south side of the pier. The contest runs through the weekend.
Even though waves weren’t huge or anything, there was a bit of combo swell action in the water making for peaky conditions. Winds stayed down most of the morning. While the south side of the pier was blocked off to free surfers, there was tons of great surfing on the north side and south of the contest site. Check out snaps from today here.
