So much to see, so little time.We couldn’t be everywhere, so we solicited readers’ help on OrangeCounty.com to send us their photos of the U.S. Open of Surfing held in Huntington Beach last week. There were about 900 photos capturing the action – everywhere from surf shots (of course), to the sights on the sand. CHECK OUT OUR TOP 25 PICKS HERE OR LINK BELOW.
It was a tough selection, with insane photos coming in every day. But our panel of judges had to pick one.
Photographer Steve Shambeck had the top shot and will take home a sweet new Timmy Patterson surfboard! Big thanks to Timmy Patterson and Vans for helping us host the contest. The other two photos displayed on the page were also among our favorites.
