Learning how to manage Santa Barbara is for sure necessary before traveling there. It can get pretty pricy and you always want to try and see everything whenever you are there! Learning where and when to go is what is most important. I was just there for Fiestas and it was so much fun! The entertainment and food was excellent and so was our hotel! We stayed at the South Coast Inn (www.santa-barbara-hotel.com). So elegant and the perfect place to stay to escape the chaos of downtown!

Great blog and incredibly helpful as well. Love traveling to Santa Barbara and enjoying that gorgeous city to it’s full extent. I was just there and had a great time hiking and kayaking. Of course enjoying the night life as well! We stayed at the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). So budget friendly and the location is the absolute best!

H.B. Resident Robert Rizzo Parking Scam policies alive and well here.
Former disgraced Bell City Manager Robert Rizzo criminal parking scam policies are a mirror and model of the current parking ticket contesting procedures in place currently in Huntington Beach. While emails to the Mayor and City Councilman Devin Dwyer who 1 ½ yrs ago went in a tirade in the news media and city council meeting concerning the parking ticketing procedures went unreplied. As of this date the mock ticket contesting procedures in this made for show kangaroo court set up by the City for residents to contest parking tickets is a sham and one that more further resembles a North Korean tribunal where defendants are squelched, not listened too with witness statements discounted, and questions not answered before an arbitrator. This asset vehicle is one of veiled corruption all in the interests of the almighty dollar generation for the city of Huntington Beach at the expense of residents.

We currently reside in a LaHabra and are paying $1,470. for a large 2 master bdrm/ba apartment… we can make a 1 or 2 bdrm work… Ultimately, I am looking to simplify things and *maybe* lower my monthly rent a little bit and change my location
