If you’ve been to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, you’re probably wondering why I’m suggesting you should go in the rain. After all, the entire Shark Lagoon, ray and turtle exhibits and Lorikeet Forest areas are outdoors.
But here’s the secret: The aquarium will give you a rain check that’s good for free admission to return again later! So you get to enjoy all three of the main indoor galleries, your kids can run around and see the many creatures there, (maybe even get tired) and then you get to come back later for free!
Plus, they say they’ll have special interactive weather programs on rainy days.
