A Real Italian Deli -: This is the kind of place my Grandpa used to own in Santa Monica. Real Italian food. Fresh homemade specialties, fresh bread, incredible Italian cold cuts, sandwiches and a selection of other foods, pastas, wines, deserts and many other truly unique items. It’s a deli so the atmosphere is not sit-down dining but eat it there, walk to the beach or take it home for a real treat. I love this place!
I am so glad i found it: I first came across this deli close to work as i walked by on Main St. I went in and looked around. I didn’t see any menus posted anywhere. So i left. Later i was told that you should ask for a menu. The next time i did and i ordered a sandwich, but i could have ordered a nice pasta if i chose. It seemed a bit pricy but i said to myself “it’s italian and it must be really good”. I paid $7.99 for this sandwich. When i got back to the office i realized there were two 6 inch sandwiches in the box. Now the price made sense.
In this italian deli they carry many italian products such as packs of pasta, wine, olive oil etc. all imported from Italy of course. I love their food and their products and Angelo, the owner who tends his customers himself is very nice.
